Gameday: Rebels @ Braves

A chance for redemption this afternoon as the Rebels take on the Braves in Spokane (2:00 PM, Eagles Ice-A-Rena). Spokane of course beat Castlegar in 6 games in the first round of the playoffs last year. The Rebels will surely want to put last night's loss to Beaver Valley in the rear-view mirror; a 2-0 lead quickly evaporated in the second period as the Nitehawks came from behind to win 5-2.

Our Opponent: Spokane last played Thursday night, they walloped Grand Forks 9-0 in the Boundary. They sit at 3-3 on the young season despite having lost offensive stalwarts Dylan Tappe, Jake Peterson, Uriah Machuga and Chip Petrino. 20 year-old goaltender Garrett Barr is fresh off a season in the MJHL. 19 year-old Rance Hughes is off to a hot start as well for the Braves, he's scored 5 times already for the Braves.

Broadcast Info: Our friends in Spokane will have this one on kijhl.ca, beginning at 2:00.
