Roster Shuffles: Some interesting changes made over the past few days. Beaver Valley put forward Bryan Hinchcliffe on reserve. You may remember he incurred a suspension after an incident against the Revelstoke Grizzlies earlier this month. Columbia Valley has signed goaltender Tyler Stamler. He spent last season with Grand Forks. Creston Valley, meanwhile, put forward Robbie Stuckey on reserve. He notched 58 points in 108 games as a Thunder Cat. The Fernie Ghostriders have also put Bond and Brendan Hawryluk on reserve. They were both conspicuously absent Saturday night, as they were in Salmon Arm with the BCHL's Powell River Kings. They're both still listed as APs with the Kings, however.
Expansion News: A group out of 100 Mile House has officially applied for a KIJHL expansion franchise, joining groups from Summerland and Chase interested in gaining access to the league as early as next year. A KIJHL meeting will be held on November 7th where we'll hear not only the name of the new club in Chase (which has been approved), but also whether or not the governors of the league want to expand by more than one team next season.
