Chiefs 4 Smoke Eaters 1

David Bondra broke a 1-1 tie in the opening minute of the third period to help Chilliwack to a 4-1 victory over the Smokies tonight at Prospera Centre.

David Thompson and Malcolm Gould also tallied in a three-goal third for the Chiefs, who improve their record to 4-0 against Trail this season.

Josh Hansen helped Chilliwack's teddy bears make their way to the ice by opening the scoring in the opening frame, before Tanner Clarkson scored his second goal in as many appearances with the Smoke Eaters before the opening frame was out.
