Martens Returns to Nelson

A big pickup for Nelson as was reported on Mountain FM and 103.5 the Bridge yesterday, that being the return of forward Patrick Martens to the Leafs from the BCHL's Langley Rivermen.

At the time of his departure to Junior "A," Martens led Nelson in scoring (22-17-39 through 21 games), and put up 10 points (3-7) in 21 BCHL games this season. No question he will provide a huge boost up front to a Leafs squad that find themselves currently firmly planted in 3rd place in the Neil Murdoch division.
